This is the first of several exercises to increase gratitude in our daily lives. Raising your awareness of what happened throughout the day provides opportunities for acknowledging those things that make you feel grateful. At the end of each day, ask yourself the following four questions:
- What moved me today?
- Who or what inspired me today?
- What made me feel joy today?
- What’s the best thing that happened today?
Consider writing your answers down in a journal so that you can reflect back on the answers in the days to come.
